About the artist...

 Susan was born in the New England town of Middleboro, Mass. In her earlier years, her father's station as a lobster-man, landed her family in the picturesque, seaside town of Manomet, near Plymouth.
Susan and her mother would take frequent trips to Nantucket Island where relatives resided, to visit. Here, Susan inherited her love of the New England coast that inspires her talent's nautical side.
Throughout her grade school and post graduate years, Susan frequented the New England states, drawing inspiration from the crispy autumn season in Maine, the chilly winters of Vermont and the lakeside summers in New Hampshire.
Living the past 18 years in the Blue Ridge Mountains has lent itself to yet another facet of her artwork, inspired by the beauty of the area.
